Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels hold in the GREEN range once again as temperatures hold in the low 70s and winds come out of the northeast. High pressure will drift to the south, crossing through the mid-Atlantic region, and keeping our winds out of an easterly direction. Highs will increase for Monday but AQI levels should just hold in the upper GREEN level. As this air mass continues to drift south, it will b3egin to turn our winds to the southwest, which will help start a steady increase to the AQI readings for the rest of the week. Highs will also increase into the mid to upper 80s later in the week. AQI levels will also increase well into the YELLOW range by Wednesday. (Bodenhamer)
